Small Talk #9 (Sept 2003)
A MESSAGE FROM JACQUELYN SMALL, Founding Director of Eupsychia Institute:

YOUR BIGGER STORY

There is a bigger You sitting right inside your mind who lives with you constantly and sees the overview. This Self is who you really are, who can think clearly beyond all the twists and turns and foggy passages you travel in your ordinary life. We’ve not been taught much about this inner Knower who is capable of "keeping its cool" and who holds the vision, even in the midst of our wildest outbursts and conflicts. This is the Fair Witness the yogis tell us about who can nudge us gently back on our path anytime we start to move off-track and lose touch with our highest intentions. In Higher Mind you soul’s personal story line is spread out over a much longer time-line than your current biography. For here, residing upon this wider terrain, is stored the memories of our One Soul, Humanity.

So, anytime you are willing to let your consciousness move into a timeless, sacred state, you’ll see that you are "a living experiment" for the Lords of Evolution – that our species has its sacred purpose and even a job description to dutifully perform while here in human bodies.

We were born in touch with our true origins, but quickly forgot. It isn’t possible for us to remember our cosmic roots once embodied, and for a cosmic reason: We had to go into what’s called "occult blindness" so we would fully take on the conditions here. Otherwise, we’d fake it, choosing to live outside our bodies in a lofty position that never would experience life fully here. We wouldn’t enter in.

You came into a pre-selected family chain to incarnate and to heal this particular "thread" of Humanity’s web. You took on the illnesses, distortions, or proclivities encoded in that particular DNA chain so you could live through them consciously and bring them spirit, healed and whole. Your particular DNA contains certain strengths, talents, errors and blemishes that are to be released, expressed, erased, integrated, or transformed. By your soul’s willingness to take them on, you are programmed to undergo whatever expressions or healings are required to make conscious and spiritually-embued decisions that will resolve or correct any dysfunction carried in this particular chain. Now, imagine if we all did this in our families. What a Humanity we would co-create! We would steadily remove all the unredeemed, still wounded and unconscious parts of this human condition that keep love and understanding from being our highest goals.

There is no other way we can heal on a creation planet except by our assimilation and transmutation of that which we are already a part – the human condition itself. We are the homeopathic remedy! All who are in this current incarnation journey are here to heal this world and evolve it to its next level. This is your sacred purpose for being on this planet. We are the "rescue mission" we’d hoped some extra-terrestrials would land here and correct. We are those!

Initiates do this work consciously, while some more untrained in the metaphysical realities do it unconsciously; many today are working on themselves, clearing old family patterns and injuries to the soul and are becoming healthy and whole. While some still just do not "get" the sacred purpose of our lives and continue to re-create the same old unconscious, unloving patterns in their family chain, never dreaming there is another way. But someday, all will know. I’m reminded here of the poetic song lyrics from my friend Bobby Bridger’s, Heal in the Wisdom:

There is a reason, there is a rhyme,
There is a season, there is a time,
There is a purpose, there is a Plan,
And one day together we’ll heal in the wisdom
And we’ll understand.

The rules here were divined by our Creator, and were modeled by the Christ, the Buddha, Lord Shiva and Shakti, and other divine beings who have come here as the enlightened masters of the human race. For any creation planet, this is how it is done: We are to take it all on fully. And dance our way through all the joys and sorrows life brings. Then, and only then, can we dis-identify and rise on "up and out."

Lord Shiva dances in the trees at night, and in the clouds, honoring his female consort, Shakti, as the force of life that moves through all of creation. The Buddha left behind his princely kingdom and massive fortune, and as a Bodhisattva entered fully into the common life. And he discovered through experience that the way of the ascetic who renounces all life’s pleasures and starves on mud and water is the wrong approach.

The Christ had a second Eucharist ceremony not reported in our regular Bibles, but is coming out now through the Essenes’ Dead Sea Scrolls and the Gnostics’ Nag Hammadi Library. At the Last Supper, after they passed the bread and wine, Jesus invited his disciples to join in a round dance of ecstasy, a chorea mystica, so they could dance their way into liberation. The true mystery of his incarnation, he said, did not lie in his crucifixion but in his dance through life. The chorea mystica is a ritual well-known in many of the early Pagan mystery schools for ecstatically transporting people into a higher dimension. Jesus told his disciples that those who did not know how to dance had missed the point of his incarnation. While here, he made the shift from one who suffers to that of a dancing god:

"For thine is the passion of Man
that I am to suffer. Amen!
…All whose nature is to dance, dance. Amen!
Those who dance not,
know not what cometh. Amen!"

It is therefore written in your "job description" that you must at some point have the courage to come on out and enter fully into life. And be your Self. This world is starving for authenticity, and You are it! In true Love there is no carpet under which anything can be swept. All is seen, felt, and acknowledged…and healed. This is true accountability. Those who choose to fling themselves right into the middle of life develop more fully than those who remain in the safety zone.

Anytime we heal a condition in our personal lives, or create some new inspired response, here is a little more light shining brightly in the psyche of our one Humanity. And, like the pieces in a cosmic puzzle, we will each eventually find our correct fit. We each one learn to take full responsibility for our part. Then, we’re all living in Right Relationship.

Toward this aim, we can learn to keep our stance "above the storm" in Higher Mind and know that all our experiences, even the painful ones, have had a sacred purpose. From up here in the silence of our one Mind and Heart, we can lovingly accept our plight and understand so clearly what the great Indian sage, Sri Aurobindo, meant when he said,

"By they stumblings, this world is perfected."

So join us anytime you can and discover members of your soul family you've always known, waiting to greet you and support your next right step in coming whole! if you've read this far, your new life is already beginning.
